The sun was coming up high over the mountains and that meant it was time to start another snow filled day in Vail. As evening darkened the sky and the air turned colder even below the shut-down slopes, the resort lit up with the artificial glow of a still-bustling town. The shops promised warmth and entertainment, and from the restaurants came bursts of music and tantalizing smells when one passed an open door.

It was the first full day at the resort. As the group from Fandom awoke, they'd find that the snow was still falling and the temperatures outside were still cold. The town was already awake though, preparing themselves for another beautiful day of snowy fun. Night had fallen over the ski resort, and the ski lifts had come to a stop for the evening. Vail still bustled with life, though, and many a restaurant opened its doors for any tourists willing to swing by.
